A diagnostic centre in Gopalapatnam, Visakhapatnam (Vizag), Andhra Pradesh, is seeking a qualified Radiologist to provide diagnostic imaging and reporting services. The role involves interpreting medical images, preparing accurate reports, and coordinating with referring clinicians to support timely diagnosis and patient care.

Qualifications

- MD/DNB in Radiodiagnosis or an equivalent recognized qualification. DMRD may be considered where permitted under applicable regulations.
- Valid medical registration as per applicable regulations.
- Experience in diagnostic imaging and radiology reporting preferred.
- Knowledge of relevant imaging modalities available at the centre.
- Strong diagnostic, analytical, and reporting skills.
- Valuable communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

- Interpret diagnostic imaging studies and prepare clear, accurate radiology reports.




- Perform ultrasound and other imaging procedures within the scope of qualification and authorization.
- Review relevant clinical information and correlate findings where appropriate.
- Communicate urgent or critical findings promptly to the referring clinician.
- Ensure imaging procedures follow appropriate clinical and patient-safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate radiology reports and patient records.
- Coordinate with technicians and referring healthcare professionals.
- Follow radiation-safety requirements, infection-control practices, medical ethics, and applicable regulatory standards.

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹220,000.00 per month
