Server OS Upgrade Engineer (Windows & Azure)

Role Summary:

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing Operating System upgrades and migrations across on-premises and Azure cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform Windows Server OS upgrades, migrations,

Assess server readiness, hardware compatibility, application dependencies, and upgrade feasibility.

Plan and execute in-place upgrades, side-by-side migrations, and rollback procedures.

Manage and support servers hosted on Microsoft Azure.

Execute pre-upgrade health checks and post-upgrade validation.

Implement OS hardening, patch management,



and vulnerability remediation.

Troubleshoot upgrade failures, performance issues, and compatibility concerns.

Maintain implementation documentation, change records, and knowledge articles.
