Senior Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial records, reconciliations, and reporting. The ideal candidate should have at least four years of relevant accounting experience, a strong understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
- Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounting documentation.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, profit and loss reports, and other management reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations regularly.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Monitor expenses, cash flow, and outstanding payments.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Ensure proper maintenance of invoices, vouchers, bills, and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks,



vendors, and other relevant parties when required.
- Assist with GST returns, TDS compliance, and other applicable statutory accounting requirements.
- Support budgeting, financial analysis, and internal reporting.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
- Valuable knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Practical understanding of GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, and statutory compliance.
- Experience using accounting software such as Tally or other relevant ERP systems.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and basic financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and time management.
- Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
