The role

This role is for someone who wants to understand recruitment beyond sourcing and coordination.At TargetHR, you'll work across multiple startups and product companies, each with different business models, teams, and hiring challenges. You'll work closely with founders and hiring managers to understand what they need, figure out where the right talent exists, evaluate candidates, and drive the hiring process from start to finish.

The objective is simple: move from executing recruitment tasks to independently solving hiring problems. We're open to candidates with 1–5 years of recruitment experience, as well as people considering a career switch who bring strong communication, research, problem-solving, and execution skills.

What you'll do

- Understand the business: Work with founders and hiring managers to understand the role, business context, and expectations from a hire.
- Build sourcing strategies: Research companies, map talent pools, and identify relevant candidates through LinkedIn, Naukri, and other platforms.
- Evaluate candidates: Go beyond resumes and keywords to assess experience, capabilities, motivation, and suitability.
- Drive hiring end-to-end:



Manage sourcing, screening, interview coordination, feedback, offers, and candidate engagement through closure.
- Manage stakeholders: Communicate proactively, share market insights, and resolve bottlenecks in the hiring process.
- Use data and AI: Track funnel movement, understand conversion rates, and improve recruitment effectiveness through structured processes and technology.

Experience in startup, product, or technology recruitment is an advantage, but we value capability and learning agility over familiarity with a particular industry.
