_The Senior Service Transition Specialist is an advanced subject matter expert, responsible for the transition of clients with medium to complex services engagements._ _The responsibility aligned to this role ranges from input to selling activities and service design, on-boarding and operational readiness validation through to the conclusion of early life support._ _This focus within this role remains on achieving a successfully transitioned service to the agreed timeframe, costs and service outcomes._ _Job Description_ _Job Description_ _Key Responsibilities:_ _Provides comprehensive project plans and robust scoping and pricing for transition programs._ _Implements, runs, governs and controls transition projects / programs from inception through to completion._ _Manages client relationships and establishes positive relationships and constant communications with all internal stakeholders during a service transition project._ _Plans and facilitates engagement sessions with stakeholders in a service transition project._ _Manages and mitigates service transition risks._ _Manages client and internal escalations as per the standard escalation processes._ _Manages variance orders surfaced during service transition phase due to requirements mismatch and / or recent requirements._ _Reports on transition execution against the contracted planning and identify any major issues._ _Ensures handover for service execution and operational readiness validation has been successful._ _Supports new services through an Early-life-support model as required._ _Ensures that all service transition-planning projects meet objectives and timing.



Handover risk register to service operations team._ _Manages virtual teams to deliver the planned outcome for transition and transformation projects._ _Manages thorough validation and testing of services provisioned as part of the transition._ _Performs any other related task as required._ _Knowledge and Attributes:_ _Advanced understanding of the organization's services portfolio and capabilities._ _Advanced track record of medium to complex Services Transition Management delivery within an IT environment_ _Advanced knowledge of Project and Transition Management governance, frameworks and methodology._ _Excellent ability to communicate and negotiate at a senior-management level._ _Ability to interpret, deconstruct and contribute to contractual collateral._ _Excellent presentation and organization skills._ _Highly analytical and data orientated._ _Advanced ability to construct plans and schedules within a framework._ _Advanced ability to look ahead and mitigate potential issues before they arise._ _Advanced business and commercial acumen._ _Ability to think tactically with an understanding of the operations of a service delivery and operations business._ _Academic Qualifications and Certifications:_ _Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or related field._ _Recognized Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) preferred._ _ITIL certification preferred._ _Required experience:_ _Advanced experience within Service Transitioning / Project management._ _Advanced experience in applying, managing and executing transition management approaches and applicable methodologies._ _Advanced demonstrated track record of completing successful transitions into a multi-tier delivery organization._ _Advanced experience in managing stakeholder relationships, including clients and vendors._
