**Role: Fabric Analytics, AI & Power Platform Specialist** **Total Experience:** 8+ years **Relevant Experience:** 6+ years **Role Overview** The Fabric Analytics, AI & Power Platform Specialist will lead the analytics, semantic modelling, AI and business application consumption layer of the solution. The role will develop business-ready insights using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric capabilities, while designing appropriate Copilot Studio and Power Apps patterns for priority business use cases. **Key Responsibilities** + Design and develop Power BI semantic models, including measures, relationships, business calculations and reusable analytical models. + Build Power BI reports and dashboards aligned with business requirements, usability and performance expectations. + Implement appropriate security and access patterns for semantic models, reports and analytical consumption. + Evaluate and implement relevant Microsoft Fabric IQ and Copilot capabilities, subject to platform availability, licensing and approved architecture. + Design and develop Copilot Studio solutions, including conversational experiences, knowledge sources, actions and integrations as required. + Design Power Apps consumption patterns for business workflows, forms and application-based interactions. + Translate priority business use cases into analytics, AI and low-code solution designs. + Integrate the analytics and AI layer with Fabric data assets and approved enterprise information sources. + Apply appropriate data access, permissions, responsible AI,



testing and validation practices. + Collaborate with architecture, data engineering, platform engineering and QA teams to ensure end-to-end solution integration. + Support user demonstrations, UAT, performance optimisation, deployment and knowledge transfer. + Maintain semantic model documentation, solution design artefacts and operational guidance. **Required Skills and Experience** + 12+ years of overall IT experience, including 8+ years in business intelligence, analytics, data solutions or Microsoft technology consulting. + Robust hands-on expertise in Power BI, including data modelling, DAX, Power Query, semantic models and report performance optimisation. + Experience with Microsoft Fabric analytics and integration with Lakehouse or Warehouse data. + Understanding of Fabric IQ and Copilot capabilities relevant to analytics and data consumption. + Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, conversational AI, knowledge sources and workflow or connector integrations. + Experience with Microsoft Power Apps and integration with Microsoft 365 or other enterprise services. + Understanding of identity, permissions, data security and responsible AI considerations. + Ability to engage with business stakeholders and translate requirements into practical analytics and AI solutions. **Preferred:** Experience with Power Automate, Microsoft Graph, Azure AI services and delivery of enterprise analytics or AI use cases in regulated environments.
