Job Description Our client is seeking a Data Scientist - Finance to support financial and operational decision-making through advanced analytics, reporting, and predictive modeling. This individual will partner closely with finance, operational, and analytics stakeholders to analyze large datasets, uncover actionable insights, and develop solutions that improve business performance. On a day-to-day basis, this person will work with financial, operational, and patient data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks across the organization. They will write complex SQL queries, build and maintain datasets, develop dashboards and visualizations in Tableau and Power BI, and automate reporting processes using tools like Alteryx. The Data Scientist will create predictive models and forecasting tools, support profitability and cost-reduction initiatives, and translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for business leaders. This role requires someone who can bridge the gap between technical analytics and business strategy while working independently and collaborating across multiple departments. Skills and Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data science
- Advanced SQL skills, including writing complex queries from scratch
- Experience with Alteryx
- Experience building dashboards in Tableau and/or Power BI
- Experience working with ERP systems (PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP,



Workday, etc.)
- Solid data cleansing, transformation, and reporting experience
- Ability to communicate findings to business and finance stakeholders
Experience working with large datasets from multiple sources
- Healthcare industry experience
- Finance, FP&A;, reimbursement, or revenue cycle analytics experience
- Predictive modeling and forecasting experience
- Python experience
- Hyperion or other EPM platform experience
- Experience with clustering, decision trees, or advanced statistical modeling
- Master's degree in a quantitative field
