Company Description Driif.ai is building a contextual intelligence layer that replaces traditional dashboards with actionable decisions for mission-critical operations. The platform coordinates manned and unmanned systems across air, ground, and sea in real time, enabling faster, more informed responses in complex environments. By integrating diverse data streams and applying advanced AI/ML models, Driif.ai helps organizations optimize performance, safety, and situational awareness. The team focuses on high-impact applications where reliability, precision, and real-time insights are essential for success. Role Description As an AI/ML Engineer at Driif.ai, you will design, implement, and optimize machine learning models that power real-time decision-making across multi-domain systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand mission requirements, translate them into ML problem statements, and build robust pipelines for data ingestion, feature engineering, training, evaluation, and deployment. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching and experimenting with algorithms, developing and tuning neural network architectures, writing clean and effective code, and conducting performance and scalability testing in production-like environments. You will also contribute to system design, documentation, and best practices for ML operations,
ensuring reliability and maintainability of deployed models. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, software engineering principles, and system design.
• Proficiency in Algorithms and Pattern Recognition, with experience framing and solving complex ML problems.
• Solid understanding of Statistics, probability, and experimental design for model evaluation and validation.
• Hands-on experience with Neural Networks, deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow), and model optimization.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience building end-to-end ML pipelines (data processing, training, deployment) in production environments.
• Strong programming skills in languages commonly used for ML (e.g., Python, C++), and familiarity with cloud or edge deployment.
• Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, collaborate in a fast-paced environment, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with real-time systems, robotics, or mission-critical applications is a plus.
