Position: Accountant Employment Type: Full Time Job location
- Kochi, Kerala, India Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Accountant for to focus on account reconciliation, clearing opening balances, and resolving outstanding accounting issues.

Key Responsibilities
• Reconcile opening balances, customer, vendor, intercompany, and General Ledger accounts.
• Investigate and explicit old, outstanding, duplicate, or unexplained balances.
• Review balance sheet accounts including advances, deposits, prepayments, and accruals.
• Identify discrepancies and pass approved adjustment/rectification entries.
• Prepare reconciliation statements and maintain proper supporting documentation.
• Report unreconciled items and issues requiring management action.




• Complete all assigned reconciliation and cleanup work within the 3-month period.
• Prepare a final handover/status report. Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in reconciliation/accounts cleanup.
• Strong knowledge of account reconciliations and double-entry accounting.
• Good Excel skills.
• Tally ERP experience preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and handle large volumes of accounting data. Preferred Immediate availability and previous experience in accounts cleanup/reconciliation projects will be an advantage.
