Tech in Electrical Engineering ⏳ 3–8 years in instrument transformer design Must have: ✅ Independent design experience on 11 kV and 33 kV epoxy resin-cast CTs and VTs/PTs ✅ Magnetic core design: CRGO selection, flux density, winding calculations ✅ CT accuracy: excitation characteristics, ratio error, phase displacement, burden selection ✅ VT design: winding calculations, voltage ratio, burden, accuracy class ✅ Insulation design: creepage and clearance, impulse withstand, partial discharge ✅ Epoxy resin and vacuum casting processes ✅ Manufacturing drawings, BOMs, design calculation sheets,



datasheets ✅ Familiarity with IEC 61869-1, -2 and -3 Ideal candidate: someone currently at an instrument transformer manufacturer who can handle product design, troubleshooting, testing support, and design optimisation on their own. ⚠️ General electrical designers and CAD-only profiles without CT/PT design experience will not be considered.
