At Guidant Global India, we play our part in shaping the future of work by powering recruitment and support services for Guidant teams across APAC and wider global markets. As a strategic delivery hub and global capability centre, we partner with stakeholders worldwide to raise quality, strengthen compliance, and deliver consistently at scale.

We're not standing still. We're building deeper capability in-house, taking ownership of the work that matters most, and designing an agile, future-ready delivery model built for where the business is heading next.

- Join us, and you'll be part of a people-first team that's expert, ambitious, and collaborative, delivering A Better Way, every day

Position objective:

- Vertage has a combined spend of 8 billion under management, with 2,100 expert colleagues and 75,000 professionals serving customers worldwide.
- Services Procurement is a rapidly growing service line for our business, offering both public and private sector customers a diverse range of services to procure and manage statement of work-based services.
- We are expanding, and this role is central to building the operational engine behind a market-leading Services Procurement practice.
- As a Services Procurement Negotiator, based in our GCC, you will support allocated UK accounts by running the procurement and negotiation steps of the SOW lifecycle: liaising with client SOW buyers, helping shape RFPs, and negotiating cost with suppliers. You will not own the client relationship - that remains with the UK Services Procurement Specialist or Manager - but you will engage directly with client stakeholders on the detail of individual requirements and negotiations, so strong client engagement skills are essential.
- The role manages c. $20m of indirect, SOW-based supplier spend delivered by suppliers in India - buying outcomes and teams from third-party suppliers, rather than goods or direct materials. Savings are tracked two ways:
- The difference between a supplier's first quote and second (negotiated)

quote at the point of procurement, and the reduction in usage/volume achieved year-on-year (Year 1 to Year 2) on renewed or extended SOWs.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Liaising with client SOW buyers to clarify and validate new requirements
- Supporting the creation of RFPs and running mini-competitions
- Negotiating cost with suppliers, capturing the first quote and the second (negotiated) quote for every SOW so that savings can be calculated and reported
- Tracking and reporting usage/volume reduction year-on-year on renewed or extended SOWs as a second savings lever Evaluating supplier proposals and preparing recommendations for approval Supporting renegotiation of SOWs in response to change requests

Key Responsibilities:

- Client SOW Buyer Liaison: Acting as the day-to-day point of contact for client SOW buyers and requestors on individual requirements, working under the direction of the UK Services Procurement Specialist/Manager
- who owns the overall account relationship.
- Requirement Validation: Reviewing and clarifying new SOW requests with client stakeholders to ensure a clearly- defined specification before procurement begins.
- RFP Support: Supporting selection of the most appropriate route to market, drafting RFP / mini-competition documentation from the validated requirement, and coordinating the supplier response process.
- Supplier Evaluation: Evaluating supplier responses against requirement, quality and cost criteria, and preparing a clear recommendation for client/UK sign-off.
- Cost Negotiation & Savings Tracking: Recording each supplier's first quote before negotiation begins, leading or supporting cost negotiation to agree final commercial terms, and recording the second (negotiated) quote - calculating and reporting the resulting saving in line with the client finance team's methodology (first quote vs. second quote) for every SOW, across the role's c. $20m of indirect, SOW-based spend.
- Usage Reduction Savings: Tracking the volume/usage of outcomes or team resources delivered under each SOW, and identifying and reporting the reduction achieved year-on-year (Year 1 to Year 2) on renewed or extended SOWs as a second, distinct savings line.
- SOW Change & Renegotiation Support: Supporting renegotiation of in-flight SOWs where there is a material change in scope or circumstances, again capturing before/after pricing to maintain an accurate savings record.

- Supplier Onboarding: Supporting ad hoc supplier MSA and rate card negotiations as required.
- Delivery Oversight & Escalation: Monitoring in-flight SOWs to help ensure milestones and services are delivered in accordance with the agreed terms, and escalating delivery, commercial or relationship issues beyond their authority to the UK Specialist/Manager.
- Operating Model and Standards: Ensuring all documents and processes used are in accordance with agreed operating standards.

Interface with UK Services Procurement Specialist/Manager:
This role supports, but does not own, the client account. The UK-based Specialist or Manager retains overall relationship ownership, strategic stakeholder management, approval authority above agreed thresholds, escalation resolution, and leadership of large or complex procurements. This GCC-based role executes the procurement and negotiation workload -

requirement validation, RFP support, supplier evaluation and cost negotiation - under their direction, engaging directly with client SOW buyers on the detail of individual requirements. A clear negotiation authority matrix (e.g. value thresholds requiring UK sign-off) and escalation protocol between the two roles should be defined and referenced here

once agreed.

Workplace Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:
At Vertage it is our moral obligation to safeguard each other, our customers, our temporary workforce, and the environment by operating an injury-free, healthy workplace that minimises our environmental impact.

- We are committed to providing a safe and secure working environment to all employees and promote best practices. You will meet our WHSE obligations by committing to: Seek to prevent injury to any employee, customer, worker, or contractor
- Actively participating and completing compliance training as required Consider the safety implications of decisions

Essential Attributes:

- Experience in procurement, either as a practitioner or within an outsourced environment
- Demonstrable commercial negotiation experience, with a numerate, evidence-based approach to cost and savings tracking
- Understanding of the key principles of contract law
- Strong client engagement skills, with experience communicating directly and confidently with client stakeholders
- High level of IT and data literacy, including VMS technology e.g. SAP Fieldglass
- Comfortable working to UK/EU business hours overlap and tight deadlines

Desirable Attributes:

- CIPS or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in a client-facing services delivery workplace e.g. procurement outsourcing or MSP.
- Familiarity with UK public sector procurement regulations (Procurement Act 2023).
- Understanding of UK public sector procurement frameworks (e.g. NEPRO, MSTAR)
