Role Overview
We are looking for an Associate Project Lead – Oracle PL/SQL with 6+ years of experience to lead a team of 8–10 resources and own delivery for assigned applications/modules.
The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and SQL, along with the ability to drive technical execution, manage delivery timelines, handle client discussions, and resolve complex production issues.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead a team of 8–10 PL/SQL resources, including task allocation, technical guidance, mentoring, and delivery tracking.
• Own end-to-end delivery from requirement analysis through development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Translate business requirements into scalable and optimized Oracle PL/SQL solutions.
• Review and guide development of complex Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages, Triggers, and SQL queries.
• Conduct code reviews and technical reviews and ensure adherence to coding and performance standards.
• Drive SQL/PLSQL performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis of complex issues.
• Prepare effort estimates, delivery plans, WBS, and resource allocation for assigned
modules/projects.
• Track milestones, identify delivery risks/dependencies, and ensure timely resolution.
• Participate in client discussions, requirement clarification,



technical discussions, and status
meetings.
• Coordinate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, QA, and other technical teams to ensure smooth delivery.
• Lead production issue resolution and provide effective RCA and permanent fixes.
• Drive knowledge sharing and technical capability development within the team.
Mandatory Skills
• 6+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development and delivery.
• Proven experience leading a team of 8–10 resources.
• Robust hands-on expertise in:
o Oracle PL/SQL
o Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages & Triggers
o Complex SQL, Joins, Subqueries & Analytical Functions
o SQL/PLSQL Performance Tuning
o Exception Handling & Dynamic SQL
• Experience with PL/SQL Developer and/or Toad.
• Strong experience in requirement analysis, estimation, code review, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Good client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and team leadership capabilities.
Preferred
• Experience in Banking & Financial Services (BFSI) domain.
• Experience handling enterprise-scale applications.
• Exposure to Agile delivery and production support processes.
Education
BE/B.Tech/MCA or equivalent.
