Job Description
The Assistant Manager
- Project Management is responsible for driving the strategic planning, cross-functional coordination, financial oversight, and site execution of multi-million dollar Greenfield and Brownfield manufacturing infrastructure projects. Sitting at the core of project governance, this role defines program roadmaps, manages critical path interdependencies across engineering, legal, construction, and supply chain teams, and acts as the primary liaison for executive leadership, contractors, and regulatory agencies. The incumbent maintains strict financial control over CAPEX budgets, proactively mitigates supply chain and regulatory risks, and ensures all built infrastructure adheres to local building codes, safety protocols, and ESG targets.

Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Planning & Roadmapping: Define multi-year project roadmaps, establish critical path milestones, and align interdependencies across engineering, construction, procurement, and legal functions.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the central point of contact connecting executive leadership, government agencies, municipal authorities, civil contractors, and local community partners.




• Financial Oversight & Budgeting: Manage multi-million dollar project budgets, oversee CAPEX forecasting, control procurement approvals, and maintain contingency allocation plans.
• Risk Mitigation & Governance: Proactively identify supply chain bottlenecks and regulatory risks to formulate actionable "Plan B" contingency scenarios.
• Quality, ESG & Statutory Compliance: Ensure infrastructure developments comply with local building codes, occupational safety protocols, and corporate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) targets. Desired Skills & Experience

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering combined with an MBA.
•

Experience:
5+ years of hands-on project management experience executing Greenfield and Brownfield manufacturing facility projects within the automotive sector.
• Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or PgMP (Program Management Skilled) strongly preferred.
• Core Competencies: End-to-end program governance, CAPEX oversight, statutory/regulatory liaisoning, cross-functional leadership, and PMP/PgMP methodology execution.
