The organization focuses on proactive screening programs that help detect cancers and lifestyle-related diseases in asymptomatic individuals at an early stage, improving the chances of effective intervention and better outcomes. Role Description The Molecular Biologist / Geneticist will work in office at the NURA Center in Chennai in a full-time capacity. This role involves designing, performing, and interpreting molecular and genetic assays related to cancer risk, lifestyle diseases, and other conditions relevant to preventive screening. Responsibilities include sample handling, nucleic acid extraction, and analysis using techniques such as PCR, sequencing, and other genomic or biomarker-based methods, in alignment with NURA’s clinical protocols. The team member will collaborate closely with clinicians, radiologists, and data scientists to integrate molecular and genetic findings with AI-enabled imaging results, contributing to comprehensive risk assessments and patient reports. The role also includes maintaining rigorous documentation,



ensuring quality and compliance with regulatory and ethical standards, supporting validation of new tests, and participating in continuous improvement of screening workflows. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in molecular biology and human genetics, including experience with techniques such as PCR, quantitative PCR, sequencing, and nucleic acid extraction.
• 3-5 years of experience in a genetic laboratory
• hands on experience in NGS and microarray technologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex genetic and molecular findings clearly to multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work collaboratively with clinicians, imaging specialists, and AI experts, and to contribute to a patient-centered, preventive-care environment.
• Master’s or PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Genomics, Biotechnology, or a closely related field; relevant clinical or diagnostic laboratory experience is highly desirable.
