Role Description This is a full-time, in office Accountant role based in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial accounting, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing journal entries. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank and cash accounts, preparing monthly and annual financial reports, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The role also involves ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations, assisting with audits, and providing financial insights to support management decisions. The Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain accurate documentation, and help improve financial processes and internal controls. Qualifications




• Strong foundation in financial accounting, including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliation, and preparation of financial statements.
• Experience with accounts payable and receivable processes, invoicing, billing, and vendor and customer account management.
• Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems) and solid MS Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
• Knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST and income tax regulations, and audit and compliance procedures.
• Excellent numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with operations, sales, and management teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications are a advantage.
• Prior experience in retail or manufacturing environments is preferred, along with the ability to work on-site and manage deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
