Role Description The Omni Sports Advisor internship is an on-site role based in Dehradun, focused on supporting customers in discovering and engaging with sport through Decathlon’s products and services. Interns will welcome and advise customers across multiple sports categories, understand their needs, and offer suitable product recommendations and sport solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining an attractive and organized store environment, ensuring product availability and accurate pricing, and supporting merchandising and in-store events. The role also involves learning about Decathlon’s digital tools,



supporting omni-channel services such as click-and-collect, and gathering customer feedback to improve the overall experience. This internship provides practical exposure to retail operations, customer service, and sports engagement within a dynamic, team-based workplace. Qualifications
• Interest in sports and wellbeing, with the ability to engage customers across multiple sports disciplines and understand their needs.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, including active listening, clear verbal communication, and a helpful, solution-oriented approach.
• Basic organizational and retail skills, such as maintaining product displays, managing stock on the shop floor, and supporting store operations.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team, take initiative, and adapt to a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Comfort using digital tools and learning omni-channel processes (e.g., in-store ordering, click-and-collect, inventory systems).
• Availability to work on-site in Dehradun for the duration of the internship, including weekends or peak hours as required.
• Prior experience in retail, hospitality, or customer-facing roles is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Educational background in any field; current students or recent graduates are welcome to apply.
