ROLE SUMMARY: We are looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to manage project costs, quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, tendering, contract administration, and cost control. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate project budgeting, monitoring expenditures, verifying contractor bills, and maintaining cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Cost Estimation & BOQ Preparation: Calculate quantities of materials, labour, and equipment from drawings and specifications, and prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Tendering & Procurement: Prepare tender documents, evaluate contractor bids, negotiate rates and contracts, and ensure value for money.
• Cost Control & Monitoring: Monitor project expenditures, review variations and change orders, prepare cost reports, and ensure projects remain within budget.
• Valuation & Final Accounts: Verify executed work, check contractor bills against site measurements, certify payments, and manage interim and final valuations.
• Quantity Take-Off & Reconciliation: Perform quantity take-offs from architectural and structural drawings and reconcile quantities with actual site execution and project records.
• Rate Analysis & Cost Estimation: Conduct rate analysis for materials, labour, and construction activities, and assess the financial impact of variations.
• Contract Administration: Review contract terms, maintain contractual records,



and support the resolution of billing discrepancies and contractual claims.
• Risk Management & Compliance: Identify cost-related risks, support claims and cost recovery, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and applicable regulations.
• Coordination & Reporting: Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, architects, contractors, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accurate billing and timely project reporting. EDUCATION &

EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Relevant experience in quantity surveying, billing, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and contractor bill verification is required. REQUIRED SKILLS Solid knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, rate analysis, contractor billing, cost estimation, measurement sheets, and cost control. Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD is preferred. Knowledge of billing software or ERP systems, attention to detail, analytical ability, negotiation, and coordination skills are essential. PREFERRED

EXPERIENCE:
Experience in real estate, residential or commercial construction, infrastructure, or building projects is preferred. Candidates with hands-on experience in contractor billing, site measurements, and reconciliation of executed quantities will be given preference.
