Role Description The Packaging Designer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The designer will create innovative, functional packaging concepts for corrugated and paper-based products, aligned with brand guidelines and market requirements. Daily activities include developing structural and visual designs, preparing dielines and mockups, and refining artwork based on feedback from internal teams and clients. The role involves collaborating with production, sales, and procurement teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-effective,



and compliant with quality standards. The Packaging Designer will also support branding initiatives, maintain design documentation, and stay current with industry trends and sustainable packaging best practices. Qualifications
• Ability to create effective Packaging Design solutions, including structural and visual concepts tailored to product and market needs.
• Skills in Branding and Product Design to ensure packaging reflects brand identity and enhances overall product experience.
• Proficiency in Graphic Design and Typography for clear, attractive, and production-ready layouts and artwork.
• Experience with design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, or similar tools used in packaging design.
• Understanding of printing processes, materials (corrugated boards, paperboards, specialty paper), and basic manufacturing constraints.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to interpret client briefs, and capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or a related field; experience in packaging or FMCG sectors is an advantage.
• Collaborative working style, good communication skills, and willingness to work on site with cross-functional teams in Chennai.
