Role : Head of Digital

Key Responsibilities
• Digital Strategy & Transformation Execution
• Establish measurable KPIs for digital adoption, design automation, project delivery efficiency, and collaborative engineering workflows.
• Serve as the primary advisor to senior management on tech investments, digital tools, software licensing strategy, and return on technology investment (ROTI)
• Digital Engineering & BIM Governance
• Oversee the implementation of ISO 19650 standards and industry best practices for BIM/CIM workflows across all infrastructure sectors (Rail, Systems, Metro, Structures, Civil).
• Standardize and optimize CDE platforms (Bentley ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360) across cross-functional and multi-location project teams.
• Drive the adoption of 4D (Scheduling), 5D (Costing), and 6D/7D (Asset Management) models for clients. C. Automation, Innovation & Emerging Technologies
• Automation, Innovation & Emerging Technologies
• Drive engineering design automation programs leveraging Python, Dynamo, Grasshopper, API integrations, and custom macros to accelerate design cycles.
• Spearhead initiatives around Digital Twins, Smart Asset Management, GIS-BIM integration, LiDAR/drone scanning analytics, and AR/VR visualizations.
• Identify practical application opportunities for Generative AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics in engineering design and project controls. D. Business Development & Client Engagement
• Business Development & Client Engagement
• Support bid management and business development teams by embedding compelling digital strategies, BIM execution plans (BEP), and digital capabilities into tenders.
• Present digital solutions, BIM deliverables,



and innovation roadmaps directly to clients (e.g., Rail Infrastructure Authorities, Metro Corporations, Highway Authorities, Municipal Corporations). E. Change Management, Upskilling & Leadership
• Change Management, Upskilling & Leadership
• Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing digital team comprising BIM Managers, CAD/Automation Specialists, Data Analysts, and CDE Administrators. Partner with HR and Business Unit Heads to design comprehensive upskilling programs (Digital Academy / Masterclasses) for engineers and project managers. Foster a culture of digital adoption, continuous improvement, and knowledge-sharing across India hubs.
• Data Governance, Security & Operations
• Ensure strict compliance with data security guidelines, ISO 27001, global IP protection protocols, and client data handling policies in coordination with Corporate IT.
• Oversee digital engineering software vendor management, licensing allocation, and partnership relationships (Autodesk, Bentley, Esri, Microsoft, etc) Qualifications & Experience

Education:
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Computer Science, or BIM/Digital Design from a recognized institution.
• Master’s in Digital Construction, Computational Design, or Business Administration (MBA) is an added advantage.

Experience:
15 to 20+ years of skilled experience, with at least 8–10 years in senior digital engineering leadership roles within major engineering consulting, EPCM, or infrastructure firms.
• Domain Expertise: Proven track record in large-scale infrastructure projects i.e. Rail, Mass Rapid Transit / Metro, Highways, Bridges, Tunnels, Systems Engineering.
