Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer Company Description Pivotrics specializes in software product engineering, setting up high-performance insourcing teams for global product majors. They focus on transforming software teams into world-class product engineering teams by emphasizing a blend of product mindset, deep tech, agile working, and customer-focused innovation. The Chance We are setting up a specialized high performance product engineering team for a Global Fintech major in Bangalore for building an enterprise grade high throughput transaction processing platform. The team will work on industry leading Fintech product. This is an onsite work, and the location would be Electronic City, Bangalore. Roles & Responsibility It is expected you dig in & investigate needs from various viewpoints, understand the parts, but also see the whole system. Design test strategy & test plans to evaluate new feature enhancements, impact of new development on existing product, usability, operational efficiency & product performance. Own the product's quality,
ideate & suggest product/process improvements, to tech & engineering/business folks. Strive to go beyond simple testing and be a gate keeper of the product.
• Analyse requirements, do gap analysis to deliver functionally complete product.
• Design test strategy and test plans.
• Prioritize and execute the test strategy using various techniques including manual testing and automation.
• Develop simulators and innovative methods to handle technical dependencies on third parties.
• Ability to analyze logs, error messages to diagnose any problems that are found.
• Ideate, suggest to tech folks and also engineering/business management.
• Deepen tech & domain knowledge to be contribute to product IP. You have
• Bachelor's degree in CS/ECE/EEE.
• FIVE years of quality engineering
• Experience in enterprise class products/system.
• Savvy in manual testing, automation & complex product testing.
