ROLE OVERVIEW
Heads Up For Tails is looking for a Senior Manager to lead marketplace operations across the online business, covering Amazon, Flipkart and all quick commerce channels including Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart and BigBasket. From an operational standpoint, the role holds single-point accountability for demand forecasting, inventory planning, fulfilment and channel level operating cost. Given the scale at which the business is growing, it also carries direct people-management responsibility for a team of three to four members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Channel operations: Manage day-to-day operations across Amazon, Flipkart and all quick commerce channels, including order and PO processing, appointments, dispatches, fill rate and SLA adherence.
- Demand forecasting: Own the monthly and weekly forecast at a channel and SKU level, review accuracy against actuals, and work with the category and supply chain teams to improve it over successive cycles.
- Inventory planning: Define stock norms, plan replenishment and manage inventory allocation across channels, with a




view to minimising both stock-outs and ageing inventory.

- Team leadership: Lead a team of three to four Executives and Assistant Managers. Set priorities, review performance, and develop the team towards independent channel ownership.
- Fulfilment and partner management: Manage FBA, FBF, warehouse and 3PL partners on turnaround time, cost per order, RTO and damages, and hold partners accountable to agreed service levels.
- Catalogue and listing health: Ensure listing accuracy, timely go-live of recent SKUs, and prompt resolution of buy-box and content issues across platforms.
- Cost and margin control: Track channel-level operating cost, commissions, returns and reconciliation, and work with
Finance to identify and close leakages.
- Process and systems: Institutionalise SOPs, trackers and dashboards, automate manual reporting where feasible, and plan operational readiness for major sale events such as BBD and GIF.
