Role Description The IT & Technical Operations / Vendor Management role at Equipp is a full-time, in office position based in Bengaluru. In this role, the team member will manage the technical health of rented equipment, including conducting regular preventive maintenance, performing diagnostics, and resolving hardware and basic electrical issues. The role involves coordinating with vendors for procurement, repairs, and replacement of laptops and gaming devices, ensuring service-level agreements are met and inventory remains in optimal condition. Daily responsibilities include documenting incidents, tracking equipment performance, analyzing recurring issues, and collaborating with internal teams to improve operations and customer experience.



The team member will also communicate clearly with vendors and colleagues, provide technical support when required, and contribute to process improvements in IT and technical operations. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in laptops, gaming devices, and related equipment.
• Candidates should possess solid analytical skills to interpret incident data, identify patterns, and support continuous improvement in technical operations.
• Candidates should possess clear and professional communication skills to interact effectively with vendors, internal teams, and other stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess practical knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and basic electricity concepts relevant to IT hardware safety and reliability.
• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related technical field are beneficial.
• Experience in IT support, hardware maintenance, or vendor management, preferably in a rental or service-based workplace, is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate documentation of technical and vendor-related activities.
