Role Description The Physiotherapist will work full time on-site at Saumya Arthroscopy & Sports Knee Clinic in Ahmedabad, supporting patients across the full spectrum of knee conditions and surgeries. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing patients’ functional status, designing individualized rehabilitation plans, and providing hands-on therapy and exercise-based interventions for pre
- and post-operative knee care. The role involves closely collaborating with arthroscopic surgeons, monitoring progress, updating treatment plans, and documenting clinical findings and outcomes. The Physiotherapist will educate patients and families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and long-term joint health, while ensuring adherence to clinic protocols and high standards of safety and patient comfort. The position also requires participation in case discussions, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to continuous improvement of rehabilitation protocols. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess robust clinical physiotherapy skills in musculoskeletal assessment, knee joint rehabilitation, and post-surgical recovery management.




• Candidates should possess skills in exercise prescription, manual therapy, and therapeutic modalities appropriate for sports injuries and orthopedic conditions.
• Candidates should possess skills in patient communication, education, and counseling to support adherence, motivation, and informed decision-making.
• Candidates should possess skills in documentation, record-keeping, and basic use of digital tools or electronic medical records.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution, with valid registration or licensure as applicable.
• Prior experience in orthopedics, sports physiotherapy, or knee-focused rehabilitation is highly desirable.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, manage a clinical caseload efficiently, and maintain professional ethics and confidentiality.
• Willingness to stay updated with evidence-based physiotherapy practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
