– Snowflake Developer Role: Snowflake Developer

Location:
Chennai Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Developer with solid expertise in cloud data warehousing, ETL/ELT development, data modeling, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL, data pipelines, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
• Develop and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines using Snowflake and integration tools.
• Create and manage Snowflake objects including databases, schemas, tables, views, stages, tasks, streams, and stored procedures.
• Implement data modeling techniques including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.
• Optimize query performance, warehouse sizing, clustering, and cost management.
• Develop data ingestion frameworks for structured and semi-structured data.
• Work with cloud storage services such as Amazon S3, Azure Data Lake, or Google Cloud Storage.
• Implement data security, data governance, masking, and role-based access controls.




• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and data engineers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production support activities. Required

Skills:
• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering/Data Warehousing.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Strong SQL programming and query optimization skills.
• Experience with Snowflake Streams, Tasks, Time Travel, Zero Copy Cloning, and Snowpipe.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica, Talend, Matillion, DBT, or Azure Data Factory.
• Experience with Python or Shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure/GCP cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with CI/CD and version control tools like Git. Preferred

Skills:
• SnowPro Certification.
• Experience with DBT.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of Data Governance and Data Quality frameworks.
