• Have 2–4 years in Product Design, with real work on complex B2B products. We are hiring at both PD1 and PD2 levels and will calibrate based on depth of ownership, not years alone.
• Can read and reason about technical systems. Privy’s Data Governance surface deals with data lineage, asset classification, scan pipelines, and structured and unstructured data stores. You will not design these well without understanding how the data moves.
• Are comfortable in code-first design workflows. Our team builds and hosts working prototypes instead of handing off static screens. You should be able to work in a repo, or be ready to learn quick.
• Have worked with design systems for multi-product platforms: tokens, components, and the discipline to keep production consistent with design.
• Have advanced Figma skills and real experience with AI-assisted design workflows. (Bonus: Claude Code, Cursor, Antigravity or similar.)
• Understand information architecture and interaction design for dense, data-heavy interfaces.




• Can hold your own with PMs and engineers: asking the right questions about feasibility, pushing back on scope, and driving alignment without a manager in the room. BONUS POINTS FOR
• Experience designing for data platforms, observability tools, compliance workflows or developer-facing products.
• Familiarity with DPDPA, GDPR or similar privacy regulation and the workflows they create.
• Owning a product surface end to end, from discovery through QA.
• Interaction design, motion design or design system governance. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
• Own Privy’s Data Governance surface end to end: Lineage, Asset Register, Operational Controls, Asset Rescan, Unstructured Assets and classification workflows.
• Design for technical users. DPOs, compliance teams and infosec teams use these modules daily. The work is about making complex data relationships legible, not about decoration.
• Work in the design repo. Build working prototypes, host them, and use them to validate flows with PMs, engineers and clients before dev investment.
• Partner directly with engineering on feasibility, data model constraints and scan behaviour, and translate those constraints into usable interfaces.
• Contribute to Privy’s design system: tokens, components and patterns that hold up across all products, not just your own.
• Run usability validation and stakeholder walkthroughs on your modules before handoff.
• Do design QA on what ships, so the shipped product matches the intent.
• At PD2: mentor juniors, raise design standards across the team, and shape how design operates at Privy.
