Role Description The Service Steward role is a full-time, on-site position based in Goa, India. In this role, the team member will welcome guests, assist with seating, and ensure a friendly, qualified first impression. Daily tasks include taking orders, serving food and beverages, responding to guest requests, and coordinating with kitchen and bar staff to deliver timely service. The Service Steward will maintain cleanliness and organization in service areas, follow hygiene and safety standards,



and support smooth operations during busy shifts and events. The role also involves handling basic billing, addressing guest concerns, and contributing to a positive, community-oriented atmosphere consistent with Moustache’s brand. Qualifications
• Robust customer service and guest relations skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Effective communication skills in English; knowledge of local or additional languages is an advantage.
• Basic food and beverage service knowledge, including table setting, order taking, and serving etiquette.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Attention to detail and commitment to hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Prior experience in hospitality, hotels, resorts, cafés, or restaurants is preferred but not mandatory.
• Team-oriented mindset with reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to learn and adapt.
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality-related training or certification is a plus.
