Role Description The Plumbing Operator at Champion Pools is a full-time, hybrid role based in Pune City, with some flexibility for work-from-home tasks such as documentation and planning. On a day-to-day basis, the Plumbing Operator installs, inspects, and maintains plumbing systems for pools, including pipes, fittings, valves, pumps, and filtration lines. The role involves reading and interpreting technical drawings, coordinating with site supervisors and other trades, and ensuring all plumbing work meets safety standards and local regulations. The Plumbing Operator also troubleshoots leaks and flow issues, performs routine testing of water circulation systems, and documents work performed for project records.



Collaborating with team members and communicating clearly with customers and colleagues is essential to deliver timely and high-quality service. Qualifications
• Practical experience with plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance for pools or similar water systems, including pipes, pumps, and valves.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, layout plans, and basic schematics related to plumbing and pool systems.
• Knowledge of safety practices, local plumbing codes, and proper use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing leaks, pressure issues, and system malfunctions, with attention to detail and quality control.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and customers on-site and remotely.
• Basic computer skills for maintaining records, reporting work status, and using digital tools for scheduling or documentation.
• Prior experience in pool construction, plumbing, or related fields preferred; technical certification or vocational training in plumbing is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Pune City, including occasional extended hours, and to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and working outdoors.
