• Ph.
D. / Master’s in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
• 3–8+ years hands-on experience with system-level 1D CAE tools (e.g., Siemens Amesim, GT-SUITE, CarSim or equivalent) applied to propulsion, driveline, chassis, or thermal systems.
• Solid understanding of control systems and calibration concepts (closed-loop control, transient response, NVH or DQ implications, virtual calibration or SIL).
• Proficiency with scripting and automation (e.g., MATLAB, Python or similar) for simulation orchestration, model build, and data reduction.
• Strong communication skills and proven ability to work in cross-functional, multi-site teams.
• System-level 1D plant modeling using Siemens Amesim, GT-SUITE, CarSim or equivalent for propulsion, driveline, chassis and thermal systems; reduced-order and real-time modeling for SIL/HIL/VHIL.
• Demonstrated experience integrating 1D plant models with MATLAB/Simulink controls, including co-simulation and FMU/FMI-based workflows.
• Co-simulation signal mapping, timing synchronization and numerical stability; closed-loop integration with production-intent controls.
