Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Sivakasi for a Senior Chemical Engineer focused on New Product Development and R&D.; The role involves designing and developing new formulations, improving existing products, and conducting laboratory experiments to validate performance, safety, and regulatory compliance. The Senior Chemical Engineer will plan and execute process trials, analyze test data, and translate R&D; outcomes into scalable manufacturing processes in collaboration with production teams. Daily responsibilities include preparing technical documentation, maintaining laboratory and pilot plant standards, and contributing to continuous improvement in efficiency, quality, and environmental performance.



The role also requires close coordination with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely product development, technical support for manufacturing, and adherence to safety protocols. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to evaluate experimental data, optimize formulations, and troubleshoot process issues.
• Candidates should possess solid Laboratory Skills to conduct experiments, handle chemical materials safely, and operate relevant testing equipment.
• Candidates should possess experience in the Chemical Industry, ideally in pyrotechnics, explosives, or related process industries.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to prepare clear technical reports, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and present findings to leadership.
• Candidates should possess Process Engineering capabilities to design, scale up, and refine manufacturing processes from lab to plant level.
• Beneficial qualifications include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline, knowledge of safety and regulatory standards for chemical handling, experience with quality management systems, and familiarity with environmental and sustainability practices.
