About the Role
Luman Industries Limited is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Manager – Quality Assurance to lead and strengthen Quality Assurance operations across our three manufacturing locations in Pantnagar, Uttarakhand. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in an IATF 16949-certified manufacturing environment, with robust technical expertise in automotive quality management systems, advanced quality tools, audit compliance and continuous improvement. This leadership position requires a professional capable of driving quality excellence, ensuring customer and regulatory compliance, and effectively managing a team of 10–15 Quality Assurance professionals.

Key Responsibilities
1. Quality Assurance Leadership & Management
• Lead and manage Quality Assurance operations across three manufacturing locations in Pantnagar.
• Guide, mentor and develop a QA team of 10–15 members.
• Develop and implement quality plans, strategies and processes aligned with organizational objectives.
• Strengthen quality ownership, accountability and operational effectiveness. 2. Quality Management Systems & IATF 16949 Compliance
• Ensure adherence to IATF 16949 standards and applicable customer and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain continuous audit readiness across QA operations.
• Lead and coordinate IATF 16949 and customer audits.
• Strengthen quality management systems,



documentation and process compliance. 3. Advanced Quality Tools & Technical Excellence
• Drive effective implementation of automotive quality tools and methodologies, including:
• APQP – Advanced Product Quality Planning
• PPAP – Production Part Approval Process
• FMEA – Failure Mode and Effects Analysis
• SPC – Statistical Process Control
• MSA – Measurement System Analysis
• 8D Problem-Solving Methodology
• Utilize quality management software and data-driven analysis to monitor and improve quality performance.
• Support effective problem-solving and quality improvement across manufacturing processes. 4. Continuous Improvement & Process Quality
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
• Identify opportunities to enhance product quality, process consistency and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to address product and process quality requirements.
• Promote a proactive, prevention-focused quality culture. 5. Cross-Functional Coordination & Customer Quality
• Work closely with Production, Engineering and other relevant departments to achieve quality objectives.
• Ensure timely coordination on customer quality requirements.
• Support customer audits and quality-related reviews.




• Strengthen communication and collaboration between the QA function and other departments. Required Qualifications & Experience

Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in an IATF 16949-certified company.
• In-depth working knowledge of IATF 16949 Quality Management Systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA and 8D methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead, manage and mentor a Quality Assurance team of 10–15 members.
• Experience in quality audits, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Proficiency in quality management software, reporting and data-driven analysis.
• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
