7–10 years Number of Positions: 1 Joining: Immediate Compensation: Commensurate with experience Reporting to: Chief of Staff CONTEXT: The Vinoba Program, by Open Links Foundation (OLF), a technology-driven NGO, aims to improve the quality of education in government schools at scale by working with the government and using technology and behavioural science. The program helps improve the efficiency of government education initiatives and supports and motivates teachers. OLF has grown the Vinoba Program to significant scale in last four years. From few hundred schools, it is now operational in 74,000+ schools, reaching over 54 lakh students across 42 districts in Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar, with a team of about 150 employees. As OLF enters its next phase of growth, solid financial processes, accurate accounting and disciplined regulatory compliance will be essential to ensuring sound governance and smooth operations. OBJECTIVE: The Manager – Finance, Accounts & Compliance will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date books of accounts, ensuring adherence to financial processes and controls, and timely completion of statutory and regulatory compliances. The role will report to the Chief of Staff. Key Deliverables for the position are as follows:
• Accurate Accounting & Financial Records: Maintain complete, accurate and up-to-date books of accounts, ensuring that all financial transactions are correctly recorded, properly classified, reconciled and supported by appropriate documentation.
• Process Adherence & Financial Controls: Ensure that established financial policies,processes, approval mechanisms and internal controls are consistently followed, with appropriate checks to minimise errors and irregularities.




• Statutory & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate completion of all applicable statutory and regulatory compliances, maintaining the required records, documentation and compliance calendar. Ensure that all applicable filings, payments, renewals and reporting requirements are completed accurately and within prescribed timelines including TDS, FCRA, 12A/80G, professional tax, PF/ESIC, etc.
• Donor and Financial Reporting & Reconciliations: Ensure timely and accurate financial reports, reconciliations and supporting schedules, and promptly identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Audit & CA Firm Coordination: Maintain audit-ready financial records and documentation and coordinate effectively with OLF's CA firms and auditors, providing accurate information and timely responses required for audits, filings and other professional reviews. Qualifications and Experience
• MCom, / CA Inter / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification in Finance/Accounting.
• 7-10 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, audit support and financial controls.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with the ability to work independently with financial records and reconciliations.
• Strong attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to maintain accurate financial records and identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Experience in working with CA firms, auditors and external professional advisors.
