Role Description The Sales Assistant role at Saleschat is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The Sales Assistant will support the sales team by coordinating customer interactions, preparing and updating sales reports, and maintaining accurate records in CRM and other sales tools. Daily tasks include assisting with follow-ups to leads, responding to customer queries through phone, email, or messaging platforms, and scheduling meetings or demos for sales representatives. The role also involves organizing sales documentation, tracking ongoing opportunities,



and collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and timely resolution of customer requests. The Sales Assistant will contribute to improving sales processes and customer experience by sharing feedback and helping implement best practices. Qualifications
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer service abilities to build rapport and support customer interactions.
• Explicit and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, for coordinating with customers and internal teams.
• Foundational sales skills, including lead follow-up, basic negotiation support, and familiarity with sales pipelines.
• Good organization skills to manage documentation, schedules, and multiple concurrent tasks efficiently.
• Comfort using digital tools and CRM systems; proficiency in office productivity software such as spreadsheets and word processors.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
• Prior experience in sales support, inside sales, or customer-facing roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Relevant educational background in business, commerce, marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
