About us
Jivya Enterprises LLP is a sister concern of Lathia Rubber Manufacturing Co. Pvt. Ltd., a 70-year-old rubber products manufacturer with five plants serving the paper, textile and steel industries. Jivya is building a new plant in Vapi, Gujarat, to make a specific rubber product for the textile industry, using proven technology from an international partner. The process is recent to India. The role We need a Plant HR & IR Executive to be the full-time HR person at the plant. You will hire and onboard our shop-floor workforce and manage our labour contractor. You will also handle joining and statutory paperwork, attendance and payroll inputs, and keep people settled in their early months. Most people matters should be solved on site by you. What you will do
• Hiring: find workmen quickly through contractors, ITIs, referrals and local contacts, using more than one channel.
• Onboarding: handle joining paperwork, induction, safety orientation and confidentiality forms for every joiner, both on-roll and contract.
• Contract labour: keep contractor records, licences and compliance documents, and maintain the gate register and daily headcount. Check that the contractor is actually meeting statutory obligations.
• Payroll: collect and check payroll inputs and match them with attendance. Coordinate salary processing, check that the contractor pays wages, and issue payslips on time.
• Statutory compliance: work with our statutory consultant on registrations, returns and registers, and keep all statutory records up to date on site.
• Records: keep personnel files and registers audit-ready at all times.
• Performance and attendance: spot attendance and performance issues early, with evidence. Raise them with the manager and follow the warning process correctly.
• Pay benchmarks: know the wage levels across Vapi,
Sarigam and Silvassa, and flag any offer that is out of line before it is made.
• Engagement and welfare: run shop-floor communication and handle grievances. Manage welfare such as transport, canteen and accommodation, and run engagement activities so people stay. What you bring
•
Education:
a graduate or postgraduate degree in HR, MSW or MPM, or equivalent.
•
Experience:

• Contractors: an understanding of how labour contractors work and where their compliance usually slips.
• Local network: strong connections in and around Vapi, and a good sense of where workmen come from, why they leave and what brings them back.
• Plant background: experience of a rubber or process plant is a plus.
•
Location:
you are based in, or willing to settle in, the Vapi area. This role needs someone living locally, not commuting weekly. Who you are

• You are hands-on and spend your time on the floor and at the gate, not behind a desk.
• You are firm but fair with contractors and workmen.
