- Bangalore/ Chennai/ Hyderabad Required Technical Skill Set Control-M & UC4 Must-Have
• Design and execute the end-to-end migration roadmap from Broadcom Automic UC4 to BMC Control-M, establishing timelines, validation frameworks, and fallback strategies.
• Utilize BMC Conversion Tools and scripts to extract XML/definition data from UC4 and convert objects (Job definitions, calendars, Agent groups, and schedules).
• Translate UC4 proprietary scripting language (Pre/Post scripts) into Control-M compatible embedded scripts, variables, or Control-M If Actions using bulk conversion configuration rules.
• Re-map complex UC4 process flows, event dependencies, and conditions into Control-M SMART tables and parent-child workflow structures.
• Build, configure, and tune Control-M infrastructure (Enterprise Manager, Servers, Agents, and MFT) to handle incoming workloads from UC4.
• Conduct rigorous parallel runs, unit testing,



and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) between UC4 and Control-M environments to ensure data integrity and execution accuracy.
• Resolve conversion bottlenecks, agent communication drop-offs, and scheduling discrepancies during the migration window.
• Hands-on experience with Control-M Automation API to build, test, and deploy job definitions as code using JSON.
• Integration of workload automation with version control and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Positive-to-Have
• Control-M Certification (BMC Certified Administrator) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to system reliability.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across technical teams.
• Effective communication and coordination with vendors and stakeholders.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
