Role Description The Network Administrator role is a full-time, on-site position located in the Greater Delhi Area at GNIOT. The Network Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining campus-wide network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Daily tasks include monitoring network performance, diagnosing and resolving connectivity issues, implementing security policies, and performing regular backups and updates. The role involves providing technical support to faculty, staff, and students,



ensuring reliable access to institutional systems, and coordinating with system administrators on server and application integration. The Network Administrator will also document network configurations, participate in capacity planning, and contribute to the institute’s IT strategy and compliance with relevant standards. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Network Administration and Network Security to configure, monitor, and secure campus networks.
• Candidates should possess System Administration skills to support servers, operating systems, and integration with network services.
• Candidates should possess Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose issues, resolve incidents, and assist end users effectively.
• Relevant experience with TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, and wireless networks is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and IT documentation practices is preferred.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is desirable.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in an academic workplace are expected.
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, Network+, or equivalent are an added advantage.
