Role Description The Electrician – Crowne Plaza Kochi role is a full-time, in office position based at the hotel in Kochi. The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures throughout guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Daily tasks include performing routine inspections, troubleshooting electrical issues, responding to maintenance requests, and ensuring safe and reliable power supply for all hotel operations. The role also involves coordinating with the engineering and maintenance teams, adhering to safety standards, and supporting preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and enhance guest comfort.



The Electrician may be required to work shifts, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Electricity and Electrical Engineering, with the ability to understand and apply electrical principles and safety standards.
• Hands-on experience in Electrical Work and Maintenance & Repair for commercial or hospitality facilities, including lighting, wiring, panels, and equipment.
• Proficiency in Troubleshooting electrical faults, diagnosing issues accurately, and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Relevant technical certification or diploma in electrical trade or engineering; licensed or certified electrician status is an advantage.
• Knowledge of local electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices for hotel or building maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and manuals, and to use appropriate tools and testing instruments safely.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a maintenance team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, and holidays, and to respond to urgent maintenance requests.
