Senior Manager – Intellectual Property (IP)

M) / Registered Patent & Trademark Agent / Engineering Graduate / MBA Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior IP Manager based in India to lead our Intellectual Property division. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Indian IP prosecution (Trademarks, Patents, Copyrights, and Designs), strong operational management skills, and the commercial drive to represent the firm globally.

Key Responsibilities
• Operations & Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and streamline the daily operations of the Indian IP team; troubleshoot complex procedural bottlenecks and ensure strict filing deadlines are met.
• Client Care & Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key client queries and grievances; oversee portfolio audits and maintain regular reporting to executive management.
• Business Development & Travel: Conduct strategy meetings with prospective clients, attend major IP events, and travel internationally across the GCC,



Europe, and the USA to build cross-border associate networks and expand global practice connections.
• Technology & AI Integration: Utilize modern IP management software, digital workflows, and AI tools for prior-art searching, trademark monitoring, drafting, and office automation.
• Requirements & Qualifications
• Core Expertise: Minimum 8–12+ years of hands-on experience handling end-to-end prosecution of Trademarks, Patents, Copyrights, and Industrial Designs.
• Legal Knowledge: In-depth, authoritative knowledge of Indian IP Laws and statutory procedures. Familiarity with GCC/Middle East IP markets, Madrid Protocol, and PCT filings is a strong advantage.
• Tech Savvy: Practical experience integrating digital IP platforms and up-to-date AI search/analytics tools into daily workflows.

Excellent leadership, high-level client presentation capabilities, superior written and spoken English, and commercial acumen.
