Java Developer — Kafka & Cassandra Full time | Remote Location Remote Experience 10+ years Engagement Full-time Core Stack Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, Cassandra, PCF / AWS Role Summary We are hiring a senior Java Developer with deep experience in Kafka and Cassandra to build and scale event-driven microservices. You will develop Spring Boot services, build data pipelines with Kafka Connect and Kafka event streams, and deploy on cloud platforms such as PCF and AWS.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop and maintain Java / Spring Boot microservices.
• Build and manage streaming pipelines using Kafka Connect and Kafka messaging event streams.
• Design data models and access patterns on Cassandra for high-throughput workloads.
• Write and maintain JUnit test cases to ensure code quality and coverage.




• Deploy and operate services on cloud platforms such as PCF and AWS.
• Take part in design discussions, code reviews and production troubleshooting. Must-Have Skills & Experience
• 10+ years of experience in Java, including core Java and advanced Java concepts and technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka Connect and Kafka messaging event streams.
• Strong experience with Cassandra.
• Must have experience in Java (Spring Boot) and microservices.
• Experience writing JUnit test cases.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as PCF and AWS. Good to Have
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerisation (Docker / Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tooling.
