Role Description The BIM Modeler
- Plumbing & Fire Fighting is a full time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. The role involves creating and updating detailed BIM models for plumbing and fire fighting systems in coordination with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines. Responsibilities include interpreting construction drawings and specifications, ensuring models comply with relevant codes and standards, and integrating models into coordinated project workflows. The BIM Modeler will collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and project managers to resolve clashes, maintain model accuracy, and support documentation for installation and construction.



The position also requires participation in design review meetings and continuous improvement of modeling practices and templates. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM), including experience with relevant BIM authoring tools and workflows.
• Candidates should possess skills in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, with specific expertise in plumbing and fire fighting design and coordination.
• Candidates should possess the ability to interpret and develop Construction Drawings, ensuring accurate translation into coordinated 3D models.
• Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Architecture and building services to understand spatial relationships and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Candidates should possess practical experience as a BIM Modeler or similar role in the construction or engineering industry, ideally on international projects.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Mechanical/Instrumentation Engineering, Building Services, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in common BIM and CAD tools (such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks or equivalents) and familiarity with clash detection and model validation processes.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow established standards, and capability to work collaboratively in a project-driven environment.
