Microsoft Fabric Core Lead Engineer

Experience:
10+ Years Role: Microsoft Fabric Core Lead Engineer Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Fabric Core Lead Engineer to design, develop, and lead enterprise-scale data engineering and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on experience in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Platform, Spark optimization, and technical team leadership.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using Fabric Data Factory, Lakehouse, and Spark Notebooks.
• Work with OneLake, Data Warehouse, Power BI, and Real-Time Intelligence.
• Optimize SQL, PySpark, Spark workloads, and data pipelines.
• Implement data modeling, data governance, security, and performance best practices.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployments using Azure DevOps or GitHub.
• Lead technical teams, conduct code reviews, and mentor engineers.




• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver enterprise data modernization solutions. Required Skills
• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Warehousing.
• 4+ years of experience with Azure Data Platform.
• 2+ years of hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, PySpark, and Spark optimization.
• Experience with Lakehouse, OneLake, Fabric Pipelines, Notebooks, Data Warehouse, and Direct Lake.
• Knowledge of Power BI, dimensional modeling, ETL/ELT, and ADLS.
• Experience with Azure DevOps/GitHub and CI/CD.
• Strong technical leadership and team mentoring skills. Preferred Skills
• Microsoft Fabric certification: DP-600 / DP-700.
• Azure Data Engineer certification: DP-203.
• Experience with Azure Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Purview, or Azure AI Services.
