Role Description The Article Trainee role is an internship position based on-site in Kolkata. The trainee will assist with day-to-day audit and assurance work, including vouching, verification of records, supporting statutory and tax audit procedures, and preparing working papers under supervision. Responsibilities may include helping with accounting and bookkeeping tasks, basic tax computations, documentation, and data entry related to client engagements. The trainee will support senior team members in gathering information, organizing files, and drafting simple reports or summaries.



The role involves learning qualified standards, maintaining confidentiality, meeting deadlines, and participating in internal training and review sessions to build technical and practical competencies. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of accounting principles, auditing concepts, and basic taxation.
• Candidates should possess skills in MS Excel, Word, and general computer literacy for data entry, analysis, and documentation.
• Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in working with numbers.
