Licious is building the future of fresh meat and seafood in India. We operate at the intersection of consumer technology, fresh-food supply chain, operations and last-mile delivery, solving some of the most complex problems in the consumer internet space. With a large and growing daily order base across multiple cities, our last mile is a critical part of both the customer experience and business economics. We are now investing in building a more technology-led, high-control and scalable last-mile network. What makes the role meaty... As the Group Product Manager, you will own the end-to-end product charter across Licious' logistics and delivery network — spanning first mile, mid mile and last mile, including Delivery Executives (DEs), 3P delivery partners and other frontline stakeholders. Your charter will be to build and scale the technology that enables Licious to create a high-control, intelligent and scalable logistics network, while continuously improving customer experience, operational efficiency and unit economics. You will:
• Own the product roadmap across first mile, mid mile and last mile, covering movement of inventory, order allocation, dispatch, transportation, delivery execution, exceptions and completion.
• Drive improvements in SLA adherence — promised delivery time vs. actual delivery time, cost efficiency and overall logistics unit economics.
• Partner deeply with Supply Chain and Operations to identify ground-level problems across the first, mid and last mile and build technology that improves efficiency, productivity, predictability and control.
• Own and evolve products and applications used by Delivery Executives, frontline teams and logistics partners, including the roadmap for future app-store deployment where relevant.
• Build the next generation of frontline workforce capabilities across hiring, onboarding, L&D;, incentives, gamification, engagement and performance tracking.
• Improve the overall Delivery Executive / frontline workforce experience while ensuring a superior customer experience.
• Build frameworks to compare 3P vs. owned models across CX, workforce experience, SLA adherence, productivity and unit economics.
• Leverage AI and automation as first principles to rethink how logistics products are designed,
operated and scaled — moving beyond simply adding AI features to existing workflows.
• Develop an AI-native product mindset, identifying opportunities where AI agents, intelligent decisioning, predictive systems and automation can fundamentally change operational workflows and improve outcomes.
• Work closely with Engineering, Data, AI/ML, Operations, CX and Business teams to translate complex operational problems into scalable product solutions.
• Use data, experimentation and strong product judgment to identify the biggest levers for improving speed, reliability, productivity and cost efficiency.
• Coach and mentor Product Managers and emerging product leaders, raising the bar on product thinking, execution, stakeholder management and customer-centricity.
• Help shape the technology and operating model that will enable Licious to scale its logistics network across cities while maintaining high levels of control, reliability and profitability. This is a role where Product meets real-world operations at significant scale. You will not just build software — you will influence how thousands of orders and inventory movements happen every day, how frontline teams experience the platform, and how Licious balances customer experience, operational efficiency and profitability. It is an opportunity to solve problems across the entire logistics journey — from the first movement of inventory to the final delivery to the customer — while building products that can increasingly leverage AI, automation and intelligent decision-making. We hope that you have… Education
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or a related discipline.
• An MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is a plus, but strong product experience will be valued over academic credentials. Experience
• 6–8 years of Product Management experience,
with meaningful experience owning and scaling products and ideally having led or mentored Product Managers.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, last-mile delivery, mobility, e-commerce, quick commerce, food delivery, hyperlocal or other operationally intensive businesses.
• Strong understanding of first mile, mid mile and/or last mile operations, including networks, dispatch, order allocation, routing, capacity, SLAs and unit economics.
• Experience building products with a significant ground operations / frontline workforce component.
• Proven ability to use metrics and data to drive outcomes such as on-time delivery, cost per delivery, productivity, utilisation, throughput and customer experience.
• Experience working closely with Operations, Engineering, Data Science/AI, CX and Business teams.
• Strong product thinking and the ability to balance customer needs, operational realities and business economics.
• An AI-native mindset — you naturally think about how AI, automation, agents and intelligent decision-making can fundamentally change the way products and operational workflows are built.
• Experience coaching, mentoring or developing Product Managers and product talent.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous environments where the solution requires a combination of technology, process, AI and operational change. It would be great if you have…
• Built or scaled a Driver / Rider / Delivery Executive / frontline workforce app.
• Experience across first mile, mid mile and last mile logistics or supply-chain products.
• Experience transitioning from or operating across 3P and owned delivery/fleet models.
• Experience with workforce management, gig-worker platforms or frontline workforce products.
• Exposure to incentives, gamification, engagement or productivity management for frontline teams.
• Experience scaling products across multiple cities and high daily transaction volumes.
• Exposure to routing, dispatch optimisation, ETA prediction, logistics optimisation or network planning.
• Experience using AI/ML, intelligent automation or agentic workflows to solve operational or customer problems.
• A track record of coaching and mentoring product talent and building a robust product culture.
