Junior Art Director Chennai | Full time

Experience:
4–6 Years UDM is looking for a Junior Art Director who can translate creative ideas into strong visual direction, guide designers, and take ownership of quality across campaigns and brand communication. This is a transition role from execution expert to visual leader. What you’ll do:
• Translate concepts into layouts, visual mood and design language
• Define visual direction for campaigns and key creatives
• Guide designers on layout, typography, colour and consistency
• Review work and provide constructive feedback
• Execute key visuals and critical layouts when required
• Ensure quality, proofing and deadline discipline
• Work closely with Copywriters and Client Servicing teams
• Maintain process discipline and project updates




• Mentor junior designers and support their development What we’re looking for:
• 4–6 years of relevant design/creative experience
• Strong typography, layout and visual storytelling skills
• Good campaign-level design understanding
• Ability to guide and review other designers
• Clear communication and decision-making skills
• Advanced Photoshop and Illustrator skills
• Working knowledge of InDesign
