Role Description The Vice President Operations is a full-time, in office leadership role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for overseeing end-to-end operational activities across our cotton trading and distribution business. This position manages daily operations, including supply chain processes, logistics coordination, and internal workflows to ensure timely execution of contracts and delivery commitments. The role includes driving operational efficiency, monitoring performance metrics, managing budgets, and supporting P&L; objectives in alignment with organizational goals. The Vice President Operations will collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage with international merchants and textile spinners,



and address operational issues to maintain high levels of customer service and satisfaction. This role also oversees process improvement initiatives, risk management, and compliance with relevant trade, quality, and safety standards, while mentoring and developing the operations team. Qualifications
• Demonstrated expertise in Operations Management and Project Management to oversee daily workflows, logistics, and process improvement initiatives.
• Proven experience in P&L; Management and Strategic Planning to drive profitability, allocate resources effectively, and support long-term business goals.
• Strong Customer Service skills to manage relationships with international merchants and textile spinners, resolve issues, and maintain service quality.
• Background in supply chain, trading, or textile industry operations is highly beneficial.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with strong attention to detail.
• Effective leadership and team management skills, including the ability to coach and develop staff in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
