Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Ambulance Services

Job Locations: Ambattur, Porur, Red Hills, and Avadi, Chennai
Shift Timing: 8 AM – 8 PM / 8 PM – 8 AM
Shift Type: 12-hour rotational shifts
Gender Preference: Male candidates preferred

Job Summary

We are looking for qualified and dedicated Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) for ambulance services. The candidate will be responsible for providing emergency medical assistance, monitoring patients, and ensuring safe patient transportation to hospitals.

Educational Qualifications

Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:

- B.Sc. Emergency Medical Technology (B.Sc. EMT)
- B.Sc. Nursing
- GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery)

Mandatory Certification

- ACLS certification is mandatory for candidates with B.Sc. Nursing or GNM qualifications.
- Candidates must possess a valid ACLS certificate from a recognized training provider.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide immediate medical assistance during emergency situations.
- Assess and monitor patients' vital signs and medical conditions.
- Perform CPR and provide basic life support as per training and protocols.




- Assist with advanced life support procedures within the scope of qualification and authorization.
- Ensure safe patient transportation and continuous monitoring during transit.
- Check and maintain ambulance medical equipment and emergency supplies.
- Maintain accurate patient care records and emergency reports.
- Coordinate with hospitals, doctors, nurses, and emergency response teams.
- Follow patient safety, infection control, and ambulance operating protocols.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of emergency medical care and patient handling.
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively in critical situations.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work 12-hour rotational shifts, including night shifts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced emergency medical workplace.

Additional Requirements

- Male candidates preferred.
- Experience in ambulance services, emergency care, or critical care is preferred.
- Candidates must be willing to work at Ambattur, Porur, Red Hills, or Avadi, Chennai.
