- Conduct production throughput analysis using Tecnomatix Plant Simulation and Discrete Event Simulation (DES) tools.
- Identify bottlenecks in manufacturing processes and recommend solutions to improve production efficiency.
- Develop simulation models to analyze material flow from raw materials to finished goods.
- Analyze manpower requirements, workforce allocation, and production scheduling to optimize labor utilization.
- Develop and maintain simulation models using SimTalk or VBA scripting.
- Perform scenario analysis to evaluate production performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to collect data and validate simulation models.
- Prepare simulation reports and present data-driven recommendations to management.
- Implement process improvement strategies to increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall operational efficiency.
Preferred candidate profile
Looking for candidates with 35 years of relevant experience in plant simulation, manufacturing process optimization, and production analysis. Candidates should have hands-on experience with Tecnomatix Plant Simulation or equivalent Discrete Event Simulation (DES) tools, along with robust knowledge of SimTalk or VBA scripting.
The ideal candidate should have experience in throughput analysis, bottleneck identification, material flow simulation, and workforce optimization. A B.E./B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related engineering field is required.
Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills and be willing to work from the office in Chennai or Bangalore.
