Pharmacist (Female) – Maa Durga Pharmacy, Shyam Bazar

Maa Durga Pharmacy, a retail medical store at Ultadanga Road, Shyam Bazar, Kolkata, is reopening and hiring a registered female pharmacist for full-time counter work.

Responsibilities

- Check prescriptions and dispense medicines accurately
- Explain dosage, timing and precautions to customers
- Create bills, manage stock and track expiry in Marg ERP software
- Maintain Schedule H, H1 and X registers as per drug rules
- Place orders with distributors and check incoming stock against invoices
- Keep medicines arranged, labelled and stored at proper temperature
- Handle cash, UPI and card payments and close daily accounts
- Supervise counter staff

Requirements

- Female candidates only
- D.Pharm / B.Pharm / M.Pharm with valid West Bengal Pharmacy Council registration (mandatory)
- Working knowledge of Marg software is compulsory (billing, stock entry, expiry and purchase entry)
- Freshers with Marg knowledge can apply; retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Valuable communication in Bengali and Hindi; basic English
- Honest, punctual and customer-friendly
- Candidates from North Kolkata preferred
