- Manage daily stores operations, including receipt, storage, issuance, and dispatch of materials.
- Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, delivery challans, invoices, and material specifications.
- Ensure proper material identification, labeling, storage, and preservation.
- Maintain accurate stock registers and update inventory in ERP/software.
- Monitor minimum stock levels and initiate replenishment requests.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
- Coordinate with production, service, maintenance, and other departments for material requirements.
- Ensure proper documentation of material inward, outward, returns, and transfers.
- Maintain housekeeping, safety standards, and systematic storage practices.
- Collect purchase requisitions from concerned departments and verify material requirements.




- Obtain quotations from vendors and prepare comparative statements.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and other commercial conditions.
- Prepare and process purchase orders after obtaining the required approvals.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with vendors regarding quality issues, shortages, damages, and replacement of materials.
- Develop and maintain a reliable vendor database.
- Monitor pending purchase orders and report delays to the reporting manager.
- Coordinate with the Accounts Department for invoice verification and payment processing.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.
