- Key Responsibilities
- Visit patients at their homes as per the assigned collection schedule.
- Collect blood samples using proper venipuncture techniques and follow safety protocols.
- Verify patient details and ensure accurate sample labelling.
- Handle, store and transport samples according to laboratory guidelines.
- Maintain hygiene, infection control and biomedical waste disposal protocols.
- Coordinate with the operations team regarding appointments, delays and collection status.
- Maintain accurate records of completed and pending collections.
- Ensure qualified behaviour, punctuality and good patient communication.
- Report sample collection issues, patient concerns and any incidents to the supervisor.
