CDP - Indian Curry | Nineteenth May, Sector 67 Mohali
Nineteenth May is a premium resto-bar, catering and events brand in Mohali, running since 2019. We need a Chef de Partie to lead our Indian curry section for the restaurant and large corporate catering (up to 1,100 guests).
Key Responsibilities:
- Run the Indian curry section independently: base gravies (makhani, kadhai, yellow, onion-tomato), dals, sabzi, biryani
- Maintain taste, portion and plating as per standard recipes
- Plan mise-en-place and bulk production for catering orders
- Supervise and train commis in the section; keep the section clean
- Requisition stock, control wastage, follow FIFO, HACCP and FSSAI norms
Who we want:
- 3+ years in Indian kitchen, at least 1 year as CDP or Demi CDP
- Robust in North Indian curries and gravies; bulk catering experience is a plus
- Disciplined, clean and able to lead a small team
What we offer:
- Salary up to Rs 25,000 per month
